August September 2026

 

Our summer worship series will be focusing on Six Practices that Grow Faith, exploring ways to express our faith in everyday activities. The Children s Time will focus on Bible stories from The Peace Table: A Storybook Bible, helping children become more familiar with these stories. During the message time, we will hear from some of our seniors as they talk about their childhood memories of faith, sharing their words of wisdom for all of us today.

Property & Maintenance Update - Roof Capping Project

In the fall of 2025, the P&M committee began exterior repairs to masonry damaged by weather over the years. We are happy to report the project is complete as July saw the final step to replace damaged metal roof capping over the top edge of the brick walls. A big thanks to all contractors and to Terry Z and Christopher M, for their active roles overseeing this renewal project.

Dementia Education Session: Heads Up for Healthier Brains
In partnership with Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners

We ll gather in our cafe space for an engaging evening focused on brain health, dementia education, and practical tools for supporting wellbeing. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, learn more, and take away some simple, helpful strategies for supporting healthier brains.

If you're hungry for connection, meaning and practical ways to resist despair in a world that feels overwhelming, plan to be at this year's Peace Conference. MCC Ontario is hosting an in‑person event for people who don t have everything figured out but who want to build peace. Attendees will:

        Learn how to practice peace in everyday life

        Hear from courageous people pursuing justice, reconciliation and care in hard places

        Share food, stories and space

        Take action, like knotting comforters and sending advocacy letters, to remind us we re not powerless
